Role Overview:

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Qur’an & Islamic Studies Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate must be a graduate of a recognised UK-based Darul Uloom or Islamic institute and possess strong communication skills in English. This role involves teaching Qur’an (with Tajweed) and core Islamic subjects, such as Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, and Akhlaaq, to students of various ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Qur’an with correct Tajweed to students at varying levels.
• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Islamic Studies based on reliable sources.
• Use a smart tablet and digital pen for live demonstrations and teaching where applicable.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a respectful, spiritually uplifting, and disciplined online learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding learning goals and progress.
• Collaborate with the school team to ensure consistency in Islamic learning standards.

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognised UK Darul Uloom or Islamic institute.
• Strong foundation in Qur’an, Tajweed, and core Islamic sciences.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to teach confidently using online platforms and video conferencing tools.
• Own a smart tablet with digital pen, and a reliable PC or laptop.
• Stable, high-speed internet connection.
• Punctual, organised, and committed to upholding Islamic values in teaching.
