Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering interactive and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons remotely, preparing students for GCSEs and developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver KS3 and KS4 English lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and inclusive online lessons.
• Use a smart tablet and digital pen effectively to annotate texts and model writing.
• Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and respectful online learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and expectations.
• Use MS Office and digital tools for planning, teaching, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent English teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and GCSE level (KS4).
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and video conferencing tools.
• Own a smart tablet with digital pen, and a reliable computer or laptop.
• Stable, high-speed internet connection.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a virtual classroom.
